Sciatica! Anyone who has ever suffered from this will know what I am talking about. After physiotherapy, the pain was unbearable and it could only be controlled by taking powerful painkillers. Once the effect of the last tablet wore off during the night, I could no longer remain in bed and for the rest of the night I used to get a bit of sleep sitting at the table.
